KS HUAYU AluTech Showcases Top Casting Expertise at EUROGUSS 2022
The EUROGUSS trade fair will be held in Nuremberg from June 8 to 10, 2022. KS HUAYU AluTech GmbH will be exhibiting here in hall 9, booth number 9-529. The Tier 1 automotive supplier is a 50:50 joint venture between Germany's Rheinmetall AG and Chinese automotive specialist HASCO and will be showcasing its full range of manufacturing technologies and casting applications. The focus is primarily on highly complex aluminum castings for e-mobility and modern lightweight structural components.
Managing Director Dr. Michael Schachler explains, "With the particularly open booth design, we are once again presenting ourselves as a partner and advisor to our customers in Germany and China." On display will be, among other things, an E-engine housing and a battery tray that were industrialized in Germany and are now also produced locally in China. Schachler continued, "In addition to components for modern vehicles with electric and partially electric drives, we will also have castings for conventional combustion engines such as cylinder crankcases and transmission housings."
The company has already managed the mobility turnaround well. As early as 2025, more than half of its sales will come from new applications. "We are currently developing additional new customer segments away from the passenger car market in the commercial vehicle sector and for recreational vehicles, such as motorcycles, so a crankcase for a motorcycle will also be on display at the trade show booth," explains Managing Director Ralph Lintz.
